Email Disclaimer

This page explains the standard disclaimer that appears in the footer of all email communications sent by ScaleASEAN (a trading name of HHH Holdings Pte Ltd, UEN: 201613054Z, registered in Singapore).

Singapore does not mandate a specific disclaimer for general business correspondence. However, two pieces of legislation shape best practice: the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA), which governs how personal data shared via email must be handled, and the Electronic Transactions Act, under which emails can constitute legally binding contracts. The sections below explain what each part of the disclaimer means and why it is included.

All email communications from ScaleASEAN may contain information that is confidential, commercially sensitive, or otherwise proprietary. Such information is intended solely for the individual or entity to whom it is addressed.

If you are not the intended recipient — or if you have received this email in error — you must not read, use, disclose, copy, print, or rely on its contents. Please notify the sender immediately and permanently delete the email and any attachments from your systems.

Unauthorised use or disclosure of the contents of a confidential communication may give rise to legal liability under Singapore law, including under equitable duties of confidence as affirmed by the Singapore High Court.

Under Singapore's Electronic Transactions Act, email communications can in principle constitute legally binding contracts. To avoid ambiguity, ScaleASEAN makes clear that:

• No email from ScaleASEAN constitutes a binding contractual offer or acceptance unless this is expressly stated in the email itself.
• Any indicative pricing, proposals, or scope descriptions communicated by email are subject to formal confirmation via a signed Statement of Work or accepted Quotation.
• All engagements are governed by ScaleASEAN's standard Terms and Conditions, available at scaleasean.com/terms.

ScaleASEAN — HHH Holdings Pte Ltd is committed to compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore. Any personal data shared in the course of email correspondence is:

• Collected only for the specific purpose for which it is provided
• Held securely and not disclosed to third parties without consent, except where required by law
• Subject to your rights of access and correction under the PDPA

ScaleASEAN — HHH Holdings Pte Ltd accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage arising from the receipt or use of emails or attachments that have been corrupted, intercepted, or infected in transit. Recipients are advised to:

• Scan all attachments with up-to-date security software before opening
• Be cautious of unexpected links or requests for sensitive information, even from known senders
• Contact us directly if you are uncertain about the authenticity of a communication purportedly from ScaleASEAN

Views, opinions, or recommendations expressed in any email sent from a ScaleASEAN email address are those of the individual sender. They do not necessarily represent the official position of ScaleASEAN or HHH Holdings Pte Ltd unless the email explicitly states otherwise.

Where ScaleASEAN sends commercial or promotional messages in bulk, we comply fully with Singapore's Spam Control Act 2007. This requires:

• The prefix <ADV> in the subject line of unsolicited commercial messages
• A clear and functional unsubscribe mechanism in every marketing email
• Accurate sender identification
